Current machine:

LT15K 2013 Xeon E3 1220   16 GB   2 x 450 GB SAS 15K

 

Network: Premium 150 Mbit/s

DDOS : minimun protection

Geolocation: good French company.

Online: can handle 2000 players +++

 

Price monthly: 60 eurs total.

 

OS: I can install for you windows server 2003 , 2008 , windows xp profesional ,

 

Aditional:

Buisness service level +20  eurs

Preventive protection against ddos +20  eurs

 

Critical service level +150

curative protection against ddos +70 eurs

 

# WHAT I SELL ? #

 

1) I sell the work of search best dedicated companys with best price on marchet. (many weeks work) all dedicated that i resell have XEON , ICORE7 , OR AMD cpu x64-x86 instrucction set. and dont give any problem with moderm , or old software , any instrucction set or architecture.

2) Installation of old windows + drivers. its a big pain and almost imposible doing without aditional charge

The trick i do its simple , i adquire dedicated with ubuntu then from remote console install windows server. your server will appear as "ubuntu OS" so that OS its free.

3) Drivers: other problem is that 2012 - 2013 new HP rack hight gamma servers do not support anymore windows 2003 , xp , etc so installation of drivers is a big pain were i must search Serial code of machine hardware and look for compatible drivers.

4) Im install also RAID 0 if posible thats need search raid SPECIAL raid drivers (not official ones because they dont support win2k3 server anymore) and add those to the windows image also need contact support , or edit many options in BIOS.

 

 

This is work of almost 4 hours + that only person with knowledge can do. maybe you a machine at c++ dont means that you can get a server that can handle 2k ++ users for 60 eurs at month LOL

 

 

# CHEAP OPTIONS #

For 100 - 150    200 - 600 players proyect I still support them on low gamma hardware

Can be located in France , or Germany (Hetzner) (germanics ones do not have ddos protection but really cheap)

 

FRANCE:

*Basic DDOS protection that can be updated for more eurs

*They used to  offer cheap ssd hibryd HDD , sas 15krpm , RAID 0 , ECC , KVM panel its free , no setup fee

 

18 eurs monthly

Dedicated or VPS ?

Because from what i see, most people are reselling VPS's based on monster servers splited.

Nice prices tho.

 

yes all of them dedicated vps is not good for l2off in my opinion. also i know dedicated with linux OS for l2j with x2 SSD disk , xeon cpu , 12 GB ram for 40 eurs monthly

the only dedicated hosting company with 0 ms latency on http://www.speedtest.net/, because they are very close or the same company/building with the http://www.speedtest.net/ latency test

To other sites is doing 60/150 and similars...

 

Anyway im offer very good machines , dont understand why i havent a lot of request ? :S
