I still dont know if we will run l2off or l2j , but about network it will be 100mb/sec and ddos protection we will find some1 who will do it as best it can be done.

Why no, if its homade?

Different network you have on your home different network the dedicateds use, yours is not even stable 100mb

another thing is that you will sacrifice an 3930k for a server? even a 60e old amd can do the job fine, so theres no reason to destroy your good hardware, you wont even see difference

You can order a machine from ovh company, including ddos protections.

Of course if he has not too much budget, because if so, he can order a good server in a good datacenter, that provides a decent support and trustability/stability and a ddos protection somewhere...

Well in ordering server machines from companys prices are big , so in paying period of 6 months i can buy my own server machine. So i have 1k euros ready for the machine.

Yes, you can, but you still would need to consider 'co-locating it' in some datacenter, instead of running it from home and at the same time, pay for some good third part DDoS Protection.
