Discussion Help! How To Create A Interlude Server

Well, i have been checking a lot of websites, l2jdb, l2frozen l2hellas and youtube videos bla bla and i had no luck trying to setup a server on my machine, i did evryhting and still was unable to connecto to my server and a friend tried and nothing, then  i find out that i needed geodata and pathnode which i did get and nothing, the serverf was running but no way in hell of me or my friend were able to get in, not even on the user/pass screen just sat there "loading" the game but nothing happened, now i am looking for a guide that will teach a stupid guy like me to how set up a interlude l20ff or l2j server WITH WORKING LINKS and ENGLISH or SPANISH, you might not believe me but i have tried for days different method and nothing so i would love to get a actual help

You don't need geodata or pathnodes in order to connect to your server...

I guess that you modified your l2.ini when you were trying to connect to your server, didn't you?

When you don't even get to server selection menu is about IP's; your l2.ini IP is incorrect, your IP's from the .properties file are incorrect, or your ports are closed (but you should be able to connect through localhost, in that case).

i tried with edit file program, i tried with just the host and the 127.0.0.1 ip, i have tried i think everything, so i honestly dont know what is going on -.-

im running windows 7 home premiun, so its on my personal pc any ideas?

so let me understand, you want to open a l2j server on your own pc, for you and your friends?

 

if yes, enter your modem/router, open the ports 2106, 7777, install no-ip duc, setup the hostname in your server configs to your no-ip hostname, test if the ports are open, profit. :D

okay now it says "there was a problem when running GameGuard. (Error Code=610)" ill google it but you guys can help too :D

 

edit. after that error i haven been unable to see the loggin screen with the error, now just sits there waiting for somehting, this is what happened before

im IN finally, restarted the pc, change the HOST on my windows and now im in, now i need to know how can i make my own system help?

... your own system? take your public IP, open the l2.ini and change 127.0.0.1 or "localhost" with it. Then send it to your friends.

well for some reason, when trying to use the l2 file edit it says something weird about opening l2.ini and then doesnt show me the actual file so dont know, 

 

is there a guide, to how to customize the server? adding gmshop, buffer and suchs? and how about the modifying the database as well? for raid boss drop etc
