in case that u dont know ppls must be retards to got a db server listening on an open port thru the internet

 

so in 99% db servers use filtered state connections accessible only from local machines or maybe from 1 machine if there is usage of firewall/ip tables the only way to access em its to escalate ssh(*nix system),rdp(win32)
