You can see current RAM used using VisualVM or if your pack integrated a "memory checker".

 

About making hypothesis, count :

- 2 to 3mo per player

- the basic RAM usage of your pack (goes from 250mo for aCis up to 440mo for L2JArchid).

- geoengine (fully depends about your pack).

 

Once again to get a real appreciation of RAM usage, min/max cycle, see VisualVM. The 2-3mo per player almost never change from one pack to another.
