i have Pack and Source  ... i know how to make server but

i dont know how to use Source and what his usefulness

 

How can i use source and what his usefulness ??

Precompiled is compiled sources, while sources are sources (sounds legit).

 

Sources are used to be edited, without sources you can't edit server behavior, fix errors, or add custom (well you can but it is limited to datapack edit or configs, which is kinda ridiculous).

 

Once sources are edited following your wish, you  compile it, and the build is often distributed as being a precompiled pack for lazy/busy ppl.

 

You have to compile sources everytime you make a change on core side, and replace libraries for new ones.

 

For complete tutorials about how to compile/install/update a server, search one fo the numerous tutorials over the net or see L2J wiki.

Example:

If you have car and you don't have keys for it... you can edit it only outside....

but if you have keys for it you can edit inside too....
