This reminds me of a joke with the Romanian currency made on a 2000 greek TV show.

 

It was a greek business woman talking on the phone to one of her employees and told him "We don't need something like the romanian lei. Den lei"

 

"Den lei" literally means "It's not saying", but in slag it means "It's not worthy".
