Doesnt work.

 

Skype is a P2P network that has intermediate nodes. When you talk with some user you dont talk directly to their IP address but instead to an intermediate Node ( a skype server ) that is responsible of forwarding your messages to that person.

 

What you get there is the Skype Node IP Address, not the user's IP address.

wrong. Filter for packets with a data length of 28 bytes on several packet tracers and you will be able to find someone's ip.

 

ex. give me your skype username. (dunno if this skype resolver works. i use a personal)
