Why the hell u need  6 core and 16 GB RAM for a c1 server... I think you forgotten how it all started, servers before was hosted on  1x or 2x core with 1.5 ghz and 1-2 GB RAM TOP and it all worked fine :) anyway great video, I enjoyed it.

L2OFF server design, always needed strong hardware, even if you had 1 player online, since it is clustered and it does reserve a lot of RAM from the start. It also has high I/O demands, no matter if its C4, C1 or GF. I have run C1, Prelude, C4 (+C6 Extended) and GF PTS and I found almost no difference in the hardware requirements.

 

Unless you talk about java servers.
