Soultaker has the highest chance of winning against all other mages. Most of the time I pwn every other mage class with silence/doom/abyss in open pvp with soultaker even if they have better equipment. Sorry SPS lovers, SPS has nothing else but casting speed. When PVPing with melees, the only nuker that stands a chance is again, a Soultaker. The only things that will kill you is dagger blows and uber drac bow crits.

I tell u something else what kills necro.

Storm Screamer in MAjor arcana robe set with Arcana Mace +3 + acumen with 6500 M.atk and 1512 casting speed and if u eat wind vortex, u are dead :P Why? BEcause wind vortex cuts 30% of your casting speed, after that if the silence lands u are dead if not u are one shot or maybe 2.

 

Necro is too much overrated. It is very strong, but not a godlike char.
