I'm trying to create a Server Interlude, when you think, I have installed navicat, wamp, etc. Since I have the hexid where it belongs, what happens is that when loginscreen, I displayed the Sub-Servers, as in the picture:
I always preferred L2Off simply because it is the official server platform.
It provides more accurate retail mechanics and much better stability overall.
Java comes with its own problems such as constant restarts, geodata issues, and quirks that add up over time.
I have seen some L2J servers run well, but for serious long term projects L2Off is the stronger foundation. 😉
