  1. Guess I'll have to edit the thread name, seems to be confusing few people. We're not running on that russian fork, but our own (private). P.S: No idea who's editing my thread title but if that's to annoy me, it's pretty much low. Come up with something better...lol.
  2. Give me a screenshot of your main character on L2Dreams and I'll give you what you are looking for. :)

  8. @EvilDevil: Lags? Luna never ever lags, you've probably read complains regarding lags in over crowded towns...xD but that's client lags, not server. @MassiveAttack: Our project is a private fork based on Jeejee, though the most important parts were reworked.
  9. Haha =) better? I wouldn't say that. Easier for sure ^^ I've noticed a large amount of players finds Luna too hard, and a large amount of players are also looking for a serious high rate.. That's why we're thinking of opening a new server... not sure though if it'll be a high rate. :)

DreamsTeam Members: Ghost, L2Dreams Founder/Developer. Sync, L2Dreams Administrator. Forsaiken, Developer. nBd, L2InC Founder. Didldak, L2InC Administrator/Developer. Arkin, Website Developer. Next Update (2.8 Release) Changelog Gameplay Changes Leveling Grounds Hellbound Island that used to be accessible through the High Level Zones has been replaced from our custom leveling grounds by Giant's Caves. Giant's Caves is a party-leveling zone. The XP/SP earned there is higher than any other High Level Zones. Drops are low, however unique drops can be obtained at low rates, such as Elemental Crystals. Few things you should know: Regenerating HP through drains and vampirics on Giant's Caves monsters and mini-raids is not possible. Since Giant's Caves was selected to replace Hellbound Island which used to be a zone where people could quickly acquire XP in groups, Giant's Caves has been designed the same way. If you decide to go alone there, it'll be very hard and not worth it. It is better to get there in group. All classes Skills All characters-classes skills has been reviewed to make sure everything matches CT2.4. All skill-enchants available till Epilogue has also been added. All skills are now meant to be working as they should, although keep in mind that it is impossible that everything matches retail 100%. But we jumped from let's say 65% to 95 =) Most notice-able changes there: - CT2.4 Skills Values for all skills. - CT2.4 Skills MP consumption corrected for all skills, generated from the client itself. - CT2.3 Skills landing rate chance corrected for all debuffs, information taken from CT2.3 PTS Leak. - CT2.4 Skills magical levels corrected for all skills, generated from our skills-tree. - CT2.4 Skills cast range/time, generated from the client itself. - CT2.4 Skills Behavior. (Targets has been reworked, and friendly/unfriendly/attack, massive/non-massive skills attacks behaviors are now, finally, matching retail.) - All existing enchant skills are now implemented, and working. - All known bugs has been sorted out. Fortresses Improvements - Fortress Dungeons: (Official Feature, The Kamael) Fortress dungeons has been added. "When a fortress is independent, the Warden NPC can grant access to the Fortress Dungeon. Regardless of political status (sworn fealty or independent), the Warden can also issue special Fortress Dungeon-related quests. The Fortress Dungeon can be entered by a party consisting of more than two members. The entrance request must be made by the party leader. The Fortress Dungeon can be entered every four hours and cannot be entered by more than one party at the same time. If a character restarts or logs out inside of the Fortress Dungeon, that character is moved back out to the entrance NPC. The Raid Bosses inside of the Fortress Dungeon will disappear if they are not attacked by the players within 10 minutes of entering the instanced dungeon. If the Fortress Dungeon Raid Boss is successfully defeated, the party will receive the Dungeon Leader Mark item which then can be traded for a Knight’s Epaulettes." - Maximum owning time: (Official Change, Gracia Final) "7 days after you take possession of a fortress, possession will be lost to the rebel army." Unglitchable Doors! Jumping through doors with horse and shit is no longer possible! (-beep- you Method) All doors coordinates has been generated from the client maps and all of them are now implemented. The engine itself has been reworked and the doors are now integrated to the Geodata. They're now completely un-glitch-able! ^_^ Squad Skills Squad Skills has been implemented. These new Clan Skills can be learned through the Support Unit Captain in all Fortresses and the Castle Magician in all Castles. The clan leader may select to which section of the clan each of these skills belongs to. Few things you should know: There's no limit as to how many squad skills a clan section may have. Once learned, the section of the clan the learned skills belongs to cannot be changed. Classes Tweaks & Improvements Several classes has been customized due to custom-features making them much worse then they are on official. All Summons: All summons will now benefit from Blessing of Nobless effects. After dieing, upon spawning back, your summon will regain all of his buffs. Spectral Dancers: All dances has been changed to give additional effects to Spectral Dancers. This change was done to re-balance them out. The fact that everyone runs around with dances makes Spectral Dancers useless as a support class but also less powerful than it should be in PvP situations. We reserve the right to tweak this class again if we notice something's wrong. Sword Muses: All songs has been changed to give additional effects to Sword Muses. This change was done to re-balance them out. The fact that everyone runs around with songs, makes Sword Muses useless as a support class but also less powerful than it should be in PvP situations. We reserve the right to tweak this class again if we notice something's wrong. Dimensional Merchant The Dimensional Merchant (AKA Vitamin Manager) is now available. You may exchange your "My Agathion Coupon" and "Hunting Helper Exchange Coupon" for character-specific Agathion and Hunting Helper pets. Both coupons are obtainable through events and usual farming. While participating in any event, you may be rewarded with a coupon upon killing an enemy, and while farming, at extremely low chances, you may obtain a coupon after defeating a monster. Hunting Helpers CT2.3 Pets has been implemented. These new pets known as Hunting Helpers, unlike any other pet, always has the same level as their owner. They were designed to help their master to level up by providing magical support and heals. Some of them also helps you during battle. Newly created characters will be randomly given one of these 8 pets as a welcome gift. The necklace given as a gift will allow you to summon one of these new pets with a lifetime of 12hours. You may also purchase these new pets at the Dimensional Merchant, from which you will be given the desired pet with a lifetime of 168hours (a week). Few things you should know: These pets cannot be traded, dropped, nor exchanged. They do not eat, their lifetime is static, once elapsed, they will simply disappear. The lifetime decreases only while the pet is summoned. Here are the names of the new pets: - White Weasel - Fairy Princess - Wild Beast Fighter - Fox Shaman - Toy Knight - Spirit Shaman - Owl Monk - Turtle Ascetic Items Auction System Item Brokers has been implemented. Elemental System Changes The elemental system damage bonus has been changed, and new elemental items has been made available. Damage bonus changes: The bonus increase rate of the elemental system has been adjusted. You will now benefit of 0.1% damage bonus increase each 1 elemental value difference, up to 300 (30%). That means, for example, if the difference between your attribute attack and the target attribute defense is 50, you will receive 5% damage bonus. If the difference is 80, 8%. If 150, 15%. That's up to 300 difference, 30%. This change affects both, elemental skills and physical attacks. New elemental items: The elemental level of an armor part/weapon can now be raised up to 6 instead of 3. The newly added Elemental Crystals allows you to increase your item elemental from level 3, to level six. Those are available through the Raid Manager, Competition Manager and Giant Cave's monsters, at very low rates. Events Improvements During events, players names/titles will no longer be completely hidden. Instead, all players names will be shown as "Unknown". In addition, currently targeted player CP, HP, MP and Class will now be shown. This applies to Hunter Battles, Hunter Deathmatch and Coliseum Battles, as well as Coliseum Tournaments such as Coliseum Deathmatch, Coliseum Last Man Standing... Rewards Changes The rewards for the top-killer and event winner(s) for global events (Hunter Battles, Hunter Deathmatch and Coliseum Battles) has been changed. Hunter Battles: - Winning team will now be rewarded with more or less Event Coupon's depending on their kills-count: Over 5 Kills: 1 Event Coupon Over 10 Kills: 2 Event Coupons Over 15 Kills: 3 Event Coupons Over 25 Kills: 4 Event Coupons Over 50 Kills: 5 Event Coupons - The top killer will be rewarded with a Treasure Sack, instead of 25 Event Medals. Hunter Deathmatch: The event winner will now be rewarded with 2 Event Coupons instead of a Blessed Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S) and a Blessed Scroll: Enchant Armor (S). Coliseum Battles: - The event winner and top-killer will now be rewarded with a Treasure Sack instead of a Blessed Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S). In case a player obtains both, event winner and top-killer, the reward will be changed to a Treasure Sack and 2 Event Coupons. Event Coupon Information These coupon can be traded at the event manager for items such as (/Blessed) Enchant Scrolls. Treasure Sack Information Upon opening the Treasure Sack you will be randomly rewarded with the following items, based on your luck: - 2x Blessed Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S) [25%] - 2x Blessed Scroll: Enchant Armor (S) [25%] - 30 Large Squash Seeds [20%] - 50 Event Medals [20%] - Formal Wear [10%] Primeval Battles Primeval Battles which was first implemented back on 2.7 has been completed. Tournaments Implementation Once in a while, after the Coliseum Battles ends, it may happens that Tournaments takes place in the Coliseum. When it happens, whole world will be notified. A minute after the notification Kyrah will start moving around in the Coliseum, from this point the whole Coliseum becomes a Peace zone till Kyrah closes the registrations. Once the registration are closed, all players that meets the registration criteria (usual restrictions) are registered to participate and forced to sit down while Kyrah announces the selected event rules. Events are randomly selected. There's currently two kind of events, the Coliseum Deathmatch (similar to Hunter Deathmatch) and the Coliseum Last Man Standing (similar to the Coliseum Battles, but with a single life.). When Kyrah is done announcing the event rules, all players automatically stands and are given 30 seconds to prepare before the event starts. Events maximum length is 20minutes. Coliseum Points are collected during these events (at more or less low rate, depending on the event type, it is not 100% chance to get a Coliseum Point upon kill unlike Coliseum Battles.) When the event ends, top-killer and event winner are announced/rewarded. Few things you should know: This is a very preliminary version of what we have in head. We plan on adding a lot more features on the Tournaments as well as more random events on updates that will follow 2.8. This new event concept and engine will allow us to have a large amount of events, and give us the opportunity to code them in no time. Competitions Improvements The Hunter and Coliseum Competitions has been improved. Items-restrictions changes: Instead of allowing A-Grade equipments only, equipments up to S-Grade will now be use-able. Winners changes: The firsts #15 players will now be rewarded with Competition Tickets once every week, instead of rewarding the firsts #3 once every two weeks. Amount of Competition Tickets received upon competition ends depends on your position. The #1 will receive 300 Competition Tickets, the #2 200, and the #3 100. From the #4 to the #10 positions, you will receive 50 Competition Tickets, anyone over will receive 30. New Rewards: New rewards has been added.
