I just want to show you some draws that I made in the Lineage 2 Client I may have 100, but here are some of the best Enjoy My brain couldn't resist the challenge of achieving useless stuff like this. I thought that some things were impossible, but its amazing what can be done with the L2 client PD: They are not fake, they are really drawn in the client with items PD: Some of this images are made of almost 15k items. The biggest I've done was the size of the coliseum, a little less maybe, and I didn't count the items in that moment, but probably 100k 200k items, the camera took like 1 minute to move :P

Last final missing stuff that couldn't be accomplished: Now the selected grade doesn't get lost when changing pages (preset value). It means that you will see your current grade in the combobox, even when clicking buttons The inputed search text will now stay in the input box, even when clicking buttons (preset value). Some packet work here to accomplish that result Added a limit of 30 characters to the search box to avoid issues -

The normal ones are adjustable, for example if the container is larger than the size set in width, it will grow automatically to fit the new size. The fixed sizes will not -

Last version of the Auction House for H5 with updates Aligned every table as possible, now everything looks in its place and clear Added retail colors to distinguish SAs, Enchants and Masterworks. Also for extra additional on names Improved the sell mail text, and added sell date of the item Reduced the size of the code and htmls. Deleted many redundant parameters Fixed one more issue with containers when the items are split in different characters Solved a problem that the 9 days extension would not work, only 7 days were allowed Change a little the design of items in some pages, colors specially Added 2 new buttons for fast moving in the inventory. They go to the first and last page of the inventory. Specially useful on large inventories - Edited the description of the main page and added new screenshots - Lowered the price Also new Interlude Version available. Link -
Description This is an Auction House System. Its main purpouse is lower the quantity of offline clients and traders all over the cities. Also, it's a clean, fast way to buy and sell items So basically, this would be a adaptation of the Goddess of Destruction Auction House: http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/new-items/auction-house.php Coding Its made to be used in the community server, and visually speaking, is as similar I could do it to the original For the core part, everything is done dynamically by the system The source is hidden, and its separate from everything. There are just calling functions for the community for you to add to your core Every code I make, its always with the idea of performance and smoothness. Everything is optimized, reused, as simple as possible, dynamic, easy to use and clear to watch Pictures Features Some features: Selection of complete categories, entries or none of those Sorting asc/desc by item name, item crystal type and item price Dynamic tables construction, categories, entries, pages, names, pictures, elements Dynamic condition checks for sorting every possible item in the right category Error handling everywhere, to avoid crashes Every value is automatically adjusted. Like minimum, maximum values, empty values. Also, when selling an item, the minimum is what shops gives you for that item, to avoid confusions New purchase window, with extra informacion like the seller, price, count, final price, etc The system tries to always avoid creating new items, it justs move the original items between containers, unless multiple owners appear Support for searching items by name Every parameter is saved between links, so nothing is lost if changing pages or using buttons Config for setting if this system can be used outside peace zone, and for setting Sale Fees for each day. Default is 0.5% of the total value x day count The item is automatically returned to its owner if is not sold in the set date Every possible check is done before important functions like create an auction, buy an item, or cancel an auction A simple datatable is created for saving item ids, owners and durations Every important function is synchronized to avoid problems Canceling an auction returns the items to your inventory. Purchasing gives the items to your inventory. Adena payments are sent to the seller directly to the inventory. Auctions finished send the items to the seller to the inventory In contrast with retail, that you are forced to buy all the package (Example: 1000 of 1000 soulshots), here you can buy any quantity you like, from 1 to the maximum available Originally, the maximum days that can be inputed for auction are 7, I expanded to 9 Notes PD: The system is packaged, so just import and add just some codes. Thanks for the support New Update - Fixed some issues with htmls - Fixed maximum page number for inventory slots, damn integer casting, now the table will be complete always - Added some checks to avoid errors - Reduced the amount of code -

Updated: - Added thousand dividers to numbers - Added variable to recognize time values, and then formating them in Minutes or Hours - Fixed and added some missing stats - Fixed some typos on categories - Added synchronized threads to update all stats in periods of one hour. It also saves current modified stats to avoid losing them on bad server shutdown - Fixed some wrong bypasses - Changed the maps to shared and joined some functions for better performance - Removed hardcoded additional texts for some types in the ranking And that is pretty much everything needed for this system -

- Fixed inventory size when there are less than 5 items - Fixed typo "Your Actions" to "Your Auctions" - Adjusted table size of my auctions to fit the window properly - Added new conditions to avoid non tradeable items to appear for selling. Also solved problem for selling adena - Change "Rank" to "Grade" - Improved a little the size of the htmls - Removed some useless parameters - Made a thread and volatile variables to solved some issues with item synchronization on Auction Cancel and Auction Returns -
We should see more recent codes to judge. Everyone has a learning curve Although, promoting himself as professional when he couldn't even get to a medium programmer is nasty. Marketing or not Still, we just don't know what is his current status

I edited the first post to be clearer I fixed and improved some parts of the auction house Its semi-packaged now I tried to convert my systems to interlude, with no success. Maybe I need more experience on this, but im facing 2 issues: - Community Board html size limit is lower than required, and lower than newer chronicles - All the buttons and images needed are non existent in interlude I believe that this changes from Hellbound, and most certainly from Gracia So for now, this systems will be for Gracia up to H5 -

No, of course they are not for goddess. This are goddess systems that are included in their client, made for other chronicles Now is only for High Five, but Im working on the Interlude version, Im just facing some problems, but I will have them today i think -

That is in fact a good question, and something that most of people don't take into account Community does some heavy calculations and packet sending sometimes, specially on custom systems You can see that changing tabs in community gives a small lag. I never got into the community to see what is really doing, but it seems somewhat bad coded Still, coming back for custom systems. Most of systems that you can buy use "On Request" sorts, queries. That is doing some medium/heavy calculations, sorting, searching, and looking into database each time a character click on a button. I've seen lots of those Scheme Buffers, on community or normal windows, that access to DB each time a player do something. It is just disastrous. A kick to the nuts And the worst is that most of the customs that "developers" are selling are just like this. Yes, in appearance it works, gives results, but the path is always important, not just the end That is somewhat that was discussed here: http://maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=251927.30 Bad coding must not be solved by getting larger servers or faster connections For my Systems, I can assure that are as best developed as I'm able to in that moment. If if is not good enough, I dont post it, like some of my other creations, that need to get better or reworked at least This Auction House has flood protectors, error handling, final and static variables, alternative simple arrays. The only thing it does on request is flitering items by the set parameters, and sorting as needed. Packets are larger than retail, obviously, because complete htmls must be sent, but I dont believe that is a problem at all -

Way longer of what I wanted to be. I believe that 6 days for doing everything, including gathering information of this system, as I dont have access to official server L2 Client cant handle really well htmls, specially when they are complex. I faced tons of critical errors, wrong tables, formats, etc, that on a normal html would never happened. That led to lot of lost time figuring out and fixing The only thing I didnt liked of this, is that I always try to program as clean, smooth as I can, and this htmls turned into a nightmare the code, but well :P Thanks for comments :D -
