why adena rate is lower than exp,sp rate? it should be at least the same as xp or double/triple.

Having buff duration to 1h is what makes support classes useless. Also rename you topic to [L2J]L2 Althar so it wont get junked.

I have seen so many people being unsatisfied with the current servers. So i though this might be an intresting topic for discussion. Theres no limit, you can write about any Chronicle or Throne, rates, features etc. I'll describe my own ideal server when i have some time too. This is also a nice chance to feed you nostalgia. :dat:

few people will give you honest help, most of those will just tell you what they want so their fav class is op.

If you dont find anyone, i suggest to look up tutorials on youtube and do it yourself, of course if you have the time.

valid points, im glad people have started noticing the overall decline of the private server community. maybe theres some hope for us afterall.

I remember i used to play a high rate server where there was no npc buffers. Other servers had x4000+ rates and retail like buff times. Kids today cant even imagine playing on a server like that.

Dont listen to anyone. Make a server that you would like to play on so its fresh. People will always look for the same things thats why there are 1kk mid rate servers.

if by npcs going down you mean the mobs disapear tell the admin to add an automatic restart every 24hours.

these days its like beating a dead horse, even if you make a successfull server with over 1k players, the community is so rotten you will get sick.

Lineage 2 will be good again when people will stop complaining about everything and stop threatening the server administration and staff. I have been running servers for the last 4 years but its the last 2 years the people have started crying for the smallest things imaginable. Every other day i get a pm by someone saying that if i dont fix something trivial he will leave the server and stuff. Back in the day there were servers with corruption, endless bugs that cause great imbalance, unfair donations (hero status remember?) and still people played had fun and never cried. Those were the good days. Now every kid because it takes 5 minutes to set up a server they think they are the pro developers and know everything. At times i want to shout to them: "If you think you can do better go and make your own damn server". Rant end.

I'd prefer to play on a server that wont mess up my client with customs, also when i see a 100mb+ patch i run away.

The decline started when l2 became f2p and the russians started making servers using latest l2off files. Everyone either went to play retail or its somewhere lost in those russian servers.

You cant make a balanced linage 2 h5 server. Even if you do balance everything (wich is nearly impossible) people will still complaint about imbalance because the classes are designed to beat each other. For example an archer cant beat a tank on 1vs1 under normal circumstances (retail like buff system etc.) The problem is we have learned to play lineage 2 in the wrong way. I have read so many discussions on the matter and each one of them has come to the same conclusion: that maxed out gear, 2h buffs, lots of buffslots etc. its not ideal for pvp. Especially the buffs.

but still they have 400+ players, l2gang has other 500+ (not sure though, havent checked l2gang for a while).

nobody will play on a server without buffers and mana pots, this isnt 2005 anymore.

Almost nobody plays on beta servers. Not a very good idea if your server is brand new.
