Update: Now you can use the Launcher to play in multiple servers. e.g. If you have a network of servers (one high rate, one low rate) players can use the same Launcher to play on both servers. They just have to choose in what server they want to play and the Launcher will download the specific patch. Launcher can manage as many server patches as you like (not only 2, number 2 is an example).
