i didnt had this problem before i formated my pc.i could play with max pixels

i got a big problem.any help is welcome. here it goes.my screen is flashing when i turn my resolution pixels up to 1280*960. lower than this resolution my screen is ok. i think its something about my video card getting overheat or something. thx in advance
