Did you understood that my reference was on l2j admins and not people like yourself? it wasnt an attack on your panel rather an opinion that 90% of admins the only thing they know is to drop files in public html and except things to work out of the box. ofcourse laravel can run without cli on any shared webhosting, you can even handle things with scripts with a front end admin panel by calling artisan commands. Do laravel as a foundation recomends shared hosting ? ofcourse not in terms of reliability scalability and flexibility and again it depends on the hosting provider. There is no way to make laravel work out of the box without cli for updates, clean cache and other stuff which comes with composer. Most l2j administrator buy some cheap shared hosting plan which is not recomended for laravel and i agree with nightwolf. It's hard to maintain the files with constant updates both in core and packages.

If you want to learn use @Mobius free version and start experiement yourself with ertheia client. Mobius has both ertheia and hi5. So you can compare quests ,areas , stats etc. But i suggest to donate because subscriber version is far more superior from free.

Just take ertheia java files and modify the content to high 5 . Its mostly java datapack and some client work to remove the new areas and content. Same thing with classic intelude. They took classic zaken and modified the content to intelude c6.

So, lucera comes in compiled state. scripts_services.buffer is inside your lib folder in one of the jars thus cannot be accessed since you dont have access to source. Either you will have to write new script using lucera api (i have no idea how its working) or Use the existing buffer as it is. I think theres a video in their forums showing how to use lucera api to write your own scripts.

Well if you have no idea how to setup your server in terms of Java then go for lucera . With some data pack knowledge you can create a great project. If you know your way around then go for acis. But keep in mind acis its not for production still missing content and some versions are experimental. In addition if we talk for mid rate server you will have to add features such vip or whatever you want for your project. Lucera is not perfect but not missing any content , most of the stuff work as intended and the idea is ready to go for admins. But keep in mind lucera comes in compile state.

Isnt part of the selling process to let customers test your product before purchasing ? You are not selling lemons. If opening a test server is wasting your time then try to provide videos, pictures and full information what these files are. Its 700 euro pruchase not some 40 euro source pack.

The only story i heard was that Inadril somehow got the datapack of official files (stats, npc ids or whatever is in there) and not some core mechanic like leaked official files of c4 PTS back in 2005-6 but there are many people who can build core mechanics from sratch either with c++ or java just by reading client packets. Even ncsoft has implement ideas from private servers.

Official- Every mmo has some kind of bot issue, but nc soft instead of improving the game to become better more modern and secure from exploits they said fuck it lets introduce auto farm system and make the acquisition of items almost impossible even with 24/7 auto farm. In addition they dont even care about the desktop version since most income is from lineage 2 mobile. Its a company not some kind of no profit orgnization to feed your nostalgia. Private servers - You have around 100 options to choose each week. New servers are introduced every day and everyone is try to build a community which is impossible since we talk about 50.000(?) of total player base. 10% of those have real online players and 90% using fake bot systems to show that their server has some kind of activity. Also the 90% of those private servers using the same packs with 0 effort to introduce something new and unique. It's a dead end. Move on - its 2022 fast pased games have conquered the gaming industry and no one has the time to spend 12 hours in front of a computer to achieve 1% progress. Just choose an l2 server that suits your interests play a few days, feed your nostalgia repeat. or find a new game.

Be carefull with cloud services. Although they give you 300 free credit to use and open instaces databases etc they charge you around 4- 6 dollars for cloud service panel(using their network even for developer purposes). Credit/debit is a must with 1 dollar validation (i am not sure if they give it back). also dont forget after you are done to delete everything because if you forgot an instance running good luck paying 100 euro for a vps.
