You could take a look at the L2Font-e from Kamael and Interlude to check if it fixes the way the names appear. I think you can't improve general graphics by adding engine files from newer chronicles.

 

 

I also dekarma you BloodWillFlow for triple post: The 2nd post you could just have edited the first post. And the third post you bump way too soon and too useless. Look at this section: was your topic really at the 3rd page? Rather the 4th position of the 1st page, no need to bump, and especially not one hour later. Consider this as a warning. As they say: "A picture can say more than a thousand words", and art to be is being able to write it yourself :)... hmmm ok perhaps too philosophical

 

To me it's nice way to express taste and mood; I think someones taste really defines the style of their art, and someone mood, and ideas floating around in the head at that time, define the content. I don't take it too emotionally like 'ooh im so sad, gonna make a really sad, rainy, gritty sig now', just for example.

 

But I don't draw/design so much anymore, but I hope to find more time for it in the future... (I'm a noob compared to most active artists here...)

But I think you need some mastery to get all these 'dual' things, so it won't be from start, I think. And I also don't know how it will work with dual weapons: they might remove the whole concept and just have fighters equip two swords to get the dual weapon bonus...

you need Umodel (you can find it with search in this section), you can make a command:

umodel -export your_pack_name.ukx

or .utx for textures

.uix files can't be opened, so nobody has these animations/models, and the .uix files can't just be put in Interlude client, because it doesn't support it.

 

So from now on only people that really got a working solution for this, or got the models/animations functioning can reply, cause this chat about people that think to know about it, giving links about unix or whatever... useless...

Interlude doesnt support .uix files, (MHumanSimulation.uix) and the models/animations can't be taken as far as I know...

I like V1 the most, don't really like the blurry effect around the render. The render itself is awesome (Killer Croc, hell yea xD)

Perhaps, when I have more time, I make some more things (I got some cool ideas already =) ). But I think I won't sticky it, cause that would be unfair towards other client modders, and also because I don't expect myself to make dozens of shares. (Perhaps I got enough Adena by that time xD)

 

Thanks for the reactions, I'm also really proud to see servers using my mods, and I really hope I can find the time and will to make some things soon (after january... school -.-)

Update on the bottom of the first post. Little new info, impressive vid, and a piece of the map :O

I'm buying it soon, so I can play it online (now needing patches all the time), I also heard you can play through Garena, though I know no shit about it.

 

I read some reviews on the new DLCs (Zombie Island and now very fresh mad Moxxi Underdome) and it's just brilliant imo. It really reminds me of playing Diablo 2, but also of playing MW2 a bit. The perfect mix :D

 

 

 

And I personally really like the *cellshaded, though I can imagine ppl don't. They put it in very late in the development to distinguish from Fallout 3 and Killzone 2. Here some screens from before the Shellshaded:

It's indeed a custom map for POINT BLANK, a totally different game from CS and L2, so I suggest lock and move it to spam or junk, and I think it has been posted before too...

 

Save your pack to a directory WITHOUT ANY SPACES

 

This is how it should NOT be:

C:/User/My Documents/Or something/

 

This is how it should be:

C:/any_where/as_long_as/I_use_these_underscores/just_no_spaces/

I dont see a space on your screen... anyway: you can right click -> Rename on any type of file (shader, texture, modifier etc.)

  you are in wrong section yes exist one glow if you search in client mod section you see ;)

I now also tried with another core.dll I found somewhere, and I tried changing the directory to Lineage II (I made it different first), but still no results :/

The reason I quit Retail actually...

you will play all the time and you will find something to do!

Like grinding your way to the next level... fun

 

Anyway, L2 is still a great game to me, with pwning graphics, BEST MUSIC EVER, and good gameplay, apart from the slow leveling. Perhaps I go try retail again with Freya (CT2.5)

Hi,

 

I'm trying to run old clients like C3 and Prelude on my Windows 7 64bit OS, and they all fail at running l2.exe (from system folder), though it is running at the 'processes' in the Task manager, there just isn't a window :/

 

I have tried at properties and changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP and some other settings, but it all failed.

 

Anyone ideas/suggestions?

No I haven't, but I have seen L2Eminece topic with 9 pages with a server that wasn't up yet, so basically a preview, and since then rules got sharpened:

You may not post servers previews, previews threads will be locked/junked.
