But there is NOTHING in logogrp.dat, except these coordinates. So if you want to change logo's, youll have to follow what I explained in my previous reply

Uhm.. You could try Aion, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning (Ive never tried it but the franchise is really appealing to me), and WoW is coming with a new expension, perhaps worth the try?

I read now it's F2P (free to play) while they redevelop it... but it appears to suck :/ (as most F2P do)

Anyway, you can take all textures from your L2Font-e.utx, and make a new one with edited logo's. I have one too for CT2.3 shared here: http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=69201.0

You could edit it a bit to make it work with epilogue.

It should work on interlude and epilogue, becouse there are no change... But if you use other pack, so change in __ini__.py file these lines:

 

from net.sf.l2j

 

 

IL doesnt have these buttons, so that has to be changed then too...

As takhs7 said, you can't open the .utx from chronicles after Interlude directly in UnrealED. After fixing them with L2UtxfixerCT2 or something you can open it with UTPT. Or, without having to decrypt, you can just take all textures with umodel (umodel -export yourpack.utx), like CE said :)

Ye, it was known they would make variations on vesper, sort of like Dynasty, but I'm not sure if they will go the same way (with Weapon mastery, Dagger mastery etc). Nice Shoulder pads though. But indeed, the black space, lol, someone forgot an balpha=true xD

Can you provide us with an error log in the quest folder? And you use l2j right? You could try check some other buffer to check the method, if it corresponds.

Ok, I actually just meant the graphics, I guess the average age of WoW players is around 18-20? Anyway, beside the graphical impression WoW gives me, or at least WoW from before cataclysm, there isn't much I can argue it is a bad game, so I might try it somewhere when Cataclysm is released. But the discuss is about L2, and I am just guessing that the idea that L2 is copying WoW doesn't effect the dying of L2 very much.

Yea you might have a point but what i was expecting from nc soft is to make big changes to change some things like maybe the boring bot leveling on retail? i mean seriously they should start to add some quests to level normal than botting and not hair styles and bullshits that only change the appearance. Bots = another reason that l2 is dying.

I agree with this, I eventually quitted L2 Retail (Gracia Final) cause I was bored of the leveling, my whole clan went inactive, and much bots :/ but I hope and believe it might be changing with Freya. And I hope to find some high rate server sometime where I can just enjoy the features without having to spend months on getting one char lvl 76 (non-cheaty way)

 

PS: When Freya is released in EU I go try it for sure in retail.

WoW Might have kiddy graphics but its gameplay is better than L2 for sure. And developers of wow make serious releases not like ncsoft. And the graphics of wow will get improved at Cataclysm Expansion.

Ontopic: L2 is old. In both sides graphics and gameplay. Adding new features of other games doesn't make it difeerent but copy cat. My opinion ncsoft has messed it up after the leaving of the original developers of L2.

Let me get this straight: people caring that L2 copies from WoW, know WoW, right? I mean, I'm a L2 player, I see a new feature, and I try it, and most of the time I find it good, and I don't even know that it was in WoW before.

But according to your argument it's better to play WoW anyway, so L2 players that know WoW would be playing that instead, right? So, how can the idea that L2 is copying WoW be an argument for statement that L2 is dying? Only WoW kids would see that L2 is copying, but if they are playing L2 anyway, what do they care? ;) (did my best to formulate, but if you think about it for a while, you might see the sense)

Who of you have done Oly's 3 vs 3? K, do those all, and then say if Gracia brought new things or not. Cause like 99% of you is just joining the crowd that screams it all sucks blabla, all assumptions, opinions based on 0 arguments. Only one way to give an objective opinion: play it yourself.
