  2. Ok, so would it be some kind of setting that forces players to port at that location on login? I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in this file.
  3. well its a faction mod that I turned on. It has the faction base locations. I have the source code so if u could point me towards where I might be able to look at it.
  4. I have a custom town location players go to when they die. But when they relog from a server restart or a crash they always get ported back to that custom location. Maybe I did something wrong but how can I make it so they stay where they logged out?
  5. I'm looking for a guide that could help me add random chance a player can get an item reward for a pvp kill. Example would be something like Player 1 Kills Player 2: 10% chance of getting gold bar. 25% chance of getting AA I would like to have a few items that have a random chance to get or maybe add all those items to a custom compressed pack that has a random chance to open into 1 of those items.
  6. Im looking through the enchantscrolls.java. But I have no idea how to make the code to change the item that fails on a enchant go -1 enchant and not wipe or break. Could someone give me some kind of clue how to do this.
  7. Thank you Edit: After testing this when you kill someone it goes straight to Pk count. I would like for your pvps to stay on the pvp side kinda like a killing spree. But when you die it adds it to the pk side. Example: PvP 10 / 100 PK You die it ends up being PvP 0 / 110 PK
  8. Im looking for something that will take all the pvp kill count and switch it to PK count when the player dies. For example. Player kills 4 people so its Pvp 4/ 0 PK. But when he dies it switches to Pvp 0 / 4 PK If someone could help me out that would be great.
  9. Its been a really long day trying to fix 2 errors im getting with my new interlude client. First it was Gameguard couldn't update. So I had to remove 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com from my host file. Then I would get ingame for 2 seconds to get a Hacking tool detected ( Im not using a hacking tool at all) So I added 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com back in to fix the hack tool error. But it would come back to the first error -.- I changed 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com to 216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.net and the gameguard update error is gone. But Hacking tool detect is still here. can anyone help me.
  10. Pack is very nice. Was easy to install and setup with no problems at all. But Im having a issue with my interlude client and trying to get into the server. Keeps saying hacking tool detected and have to close the game down.
  11. No, I have no hacking tools at all. Ive restarted my computer. When I try to add the nprotect to my host file to fix the hack detect. It goes back to the gameguard 610 error.

  13. I downloaded a fresh interlude client for a server. But when I run the game it gives me 2 errors. First error says gameguard couldn't update check my internet connection or firewall. Second message couple seconds after that is a errorcode= 610. I don't have a firewall turned on, Ive forwarded alot of ports people told me to do. Ive added the nprotect ip to my host file. I can't get anything to work. If anyone knows another trick or something I havn't tried can you help me out?
  14. Yea Ive opened the clear file with L2tool.exe and saved it to unreal editor texture folder. Then ran the Unrealeditor.exe , in the texture window I go to open the clear.utx file and it crit errors just like everyone else. Im trying to edit CT1 but ive also tried Gracia Final. So im following the guide step by step yet i seem to keep getting the crit error.

  16. Yea, I just logged on with 2 people online. But I talked with the GM and leveling is through pvp and they are having there final release july 17th. It seems to be a very good server as soon as it gets populated. When its full released I would recommend this server if ur a faction server fan :D

  19. No I don't think thats what he means by he can't see the party members. I'll try to explain kinda what happens. You invite 1 person to party and you can see him. you invite another person and when he accepts sometimes you wont see the extra window for that user. But he can see you and talk in party chat. Or sometimes its just a random name thats level 1. It sometimes also does it when you get invited to parties also. All i can recommend is doing a full file check and hope it works ;P

  21. Ive had these problems if the server used there own custom patch. Can't remember how i fixed it. Pretty much just went away when I did a full file check. So you might want to try that.
  22. I agree on how some servers know how to balance the skills and some don't. But skills added to strong classes making them stronger is just stupid. For a example daggers getting critical wound pretty much giving them more damage to stabs even if its front stabs. Archers getting passives that increase bow attack speed, run speed when they evade. Good luck catching them with that for 1 minute and dash. Only skill I really liked was the new warlord skill. I know its more of a pve class but its a nice pvp skill they can use now.
