With the new increased drop rate for the baron's mount, and all sorts of new tricks with zombification, I may have found the fastest way yet, without using 3rd party programs. We were planning on using the "friendly undead" exploit to run me through Strath for a try at the mount, (he's a hunter, he can solo) We were going to have him run, feign, and kill the three bosses. While he was killing the Baroness, I was dicking around and ran up to the gate to the slaughterhouse. it was a targetable object, "doodad_6" or something like that, and I was able to open the gate. I ran through, opened the gates to the baron, and he ran through the abominations, feigned, and went right in to kill the baron. No mount drop, but at most, this is a 10 minute baron run. Εφεύρεση η οποία αυξάνει τις ταχύτητες download μέχρι και 100 φορές Αν και το broadband ιντερνέτ είναι κάτι σχετικά καινούριο στην Ελλάδα και παρόλο που δεν έχει φτάσει (ακόμα) σε κάθε γωνιά της Ελλάδας όπως πρέπει, αυτή η εφεύρεση μπορεί να μοιάζει λίγο αστεία για μας αλλά πραγματικά είναι ένα επίτευγμα. Ερευνητές από το Bangor University λοιπόν κατασκεύασαν μια συσκευή η οποία ούτε λίγο ούτε πολύ ισχυρίζονται ότι μπορεί να αυξήσει την ταχύτητα download μέχρι και 100 φορές χωρίς να αλλάξει τίποτα στο υπάρχον δίκτυο της Αγγλίας. Από τα λεγόμενά τους αν και χρησιμοποιεί το υπάρχον δίκτυο τηλεπικοινωνιών ,αυτό που κάνει διαφορετικά είναι ότι χρησιμοποιεί τα κανάλια της πληροφορίας πιο αποτελεσματικά. Η συσκευή η οποία κατασκεύασαν (ναι είναι έτοιμο το πρωτότυπο και από ότι φαίνεται δουλεύει) ουσιαστικά είναι σε μέγεθος όσο ένα εξωτερικό dvd player και παρεμβάλλεται μεταξύ του καλωδίου που έρχεται από τον τοίχο και του υπολογιστή μας. Η όλη ιδέα είναι ότι μια τόσο σημαντική αύξηση των ταχυτήτων στο ιντερνέτ θα μπορέσει να εκτοξεύσει κυριολεκτικά υπηρεσίες όπως τηλεϊατρική, οικιακή ψυχαγωγία (παρακολούθηση ταινιών HD) αλλά και “κατέβασμα” μεγάλων αρχείων σε μηδαμινό χρόνο. Χωρίς υπερβολές 5 στους 10 χρήστες ADSL αντιμετωπίζουν προβλήματα στη σύνδεσή τους και έχουν γίνει μπαλάκι στα τηλεφωνικά κέντρα του ΟΤΕ και του ιδιωτικού παρόχου από όπου έχουν αγοράσει τη σύνδεση. Να μην μιλήσουμε για τηλέφωνο και δωρεάν γραμμές οι οποίες ανάλογα με την περίπτωση μπορεί να δουλεύουν από καλά μέχρι καθόλου. Βέβαια η παραπάνω εφεύρεση ενώ υπόσχεται μεγάλες (εώς καταπληκτικές) ταχύτητες download δεν αναφέρει τίποτα για upload. Οι ταχύτητες upload κατά περίπτωση είναι αρκετά σημαντικές μιας και η πιο απλή υπηρεσία, η τηλεφωνία VOIP ή ακόμα και το online gaming, με τις περισσότερες ταχύτητες upload που υπάρχουν αυτή τη στιγμή είναι μαρτύριο. Αυτές οι σούπερ ταχύτητες download που διαφημίζονται (αν τις πιάσετε ποτέ) ουσιαστικά αφορούν το να κατεβάσετε κάτι από το ιντερνέτ και μόνο. Και αυτό το διαπιστώνουν όλοι κατόπιν (εδώ φταίει η παραπληροφόρηση των διαφημίσεων).
