I have a similar problem with windows vista 64 bit. I changed my bat files and have no problem with the login server however the game server has a problem with "Main" Java.lang.OutofMemoryError:GC overhead limit exceeded. Then it just never finishes loading.... I have 4 gigs of memory? Should I switch to 32 bit Vista? Did not want to because have 4 gigs of ram on laptop and would lose 1 gig.... I have xp running with interlude server on desktop no problems.... just want to be able to travel and edit my server offline on laptop then apple changes to main server when I return from business trips...

I also have problems getting Interlude to work on a vista 64 bit machine. I have a XP up and running for months now with no problems. Just purchased a laptop with 4 gigs of mem to program server offline when out of town however it has 64 bit vista. Just need to know if it's possable with 64 or 32 bit vista or put XP on my laptop. Windows server 2003 is too expensive.... Thanks for any help...

Does anyone know if L2j Interlude works with the 64 bit version of Windows Vista or the 32 bit version. I have a server running on Windows XP no problems. Trying to install on Gateway P-7811 FX laptop with the 64 bit version and 64 bit version of Java so I can edit the server offline when away from house on business... No problems starting the Login Server. The game server starts to load then has a delay after it say's INFO AutoChatHandler loaded 2 handlers in total... Then it says Exception in thread " main" Java.Lang.OutofMemoryerror: GC Overhead limit exceeded and then a few more lines then Warning : Timer thread stop with the following error. restart it. I have 4 gigs of memory so not sure if its a vista problem or a 64 bit problem? Thanks for any comments

Ok Ive tried but get ping 9999 on the new server... I open port 7778 for then second computer internal under the router. Example 192.168.1.44 The main server works fine with port 7777 open at 192.168.1.39 and the external works on main server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx... and yes have 2 hexid and put the second hexid in 2 locations and change True in config server.... However running out of time as leaving for Singapore the Vietnam for work in 2 days jaja THe kids will have to wait until I get back in 2 months... I understand how the process works now more or less... will try when I return

Looks good so far... will donate $10 if it works :) .... I assume I have to port forword port 7778 to the 2nd server? And in my game patch is setup for port 7777. How will players connect to port 7778? They will be redirected when they choose the server ? Thanks This topis is more helpful than the others..... Yes but when I click it says is missing are off limits... I paid my $20 donation a month ago and never received plat status..... Yes there are different guides but have not found 1 that shows how to do with a router and 1 login server... I will donate $10 if somone has a solution that works for 2 servers behind a router... How would you direct port 7777 to second server? Have port 7778 ... and then you would have to have 2 gameservers in your patch?

Have made my new hexid for the second server, and tried examples in the forum but still can not connect 2nd server to my 1st server login under router. First server works no problem... Do I need to port forword new ports on second server ? 7778 etc? Do I need to change my patch to allow people to connect to 2nd server? Please help soon because will be going out of the country in a few days.... Thanks

I am trying to do the same thing accept I have 2 pcs under a router ... have read posts and each one says different..... Allready have the 2 servers and the 2 different hex ids..... one internal ip is 192.168.1.39 for server 1 and 192.168.1.44 for the second server.... ports are open in server 192.168.1.39 (7777,9014,2106,12345) Any help?

Hello I am in South America and connection is also expensive. My connection on my router page says 510/2021 kbps ... is this ok for 100 people? If not is it better to buy a good server and use colocation or rent a server online? Thanks for the help... Have the server running now and no lag however only 20 characters online. The guide is good however I think the internal ip should be your internal ip if you are behind a router. In windows if you go to your start run cmd then type ipconfig it should give you your internal ip. I do have this setup with noip and so far so good. However in my router setup page where I port forward the ports 7777 2106 9014 12345 etc... it also asks me for my WAN ip. And it only accepts numbers. It will not accept words. So I am curious when my ip does change and my router has port forword for my old external ip will the ports still be open internally? In other words why does my router ask to include my external ip also when I port forword the ports? Thanks for any help. Everything perfect at the moment but ip has not changed yet to check if my ports still stay open with new external ip.

Hey guy´s I am also looking at the future on what to create. Have a Interlude l2j up and running for a little over a week and like the easy customization however one player changed his name green without having admin access. He did not or could not do anything else but change the color as far as I know as in database still 0 access lvl. This has me worried as in the future I would like a server secure from hackers and would like a big community. I think the Interlude l2j is good enough to run without a tun of bugs however I am still a noob so correct me if I am wrong. Agree 100% a person needs to get his feet wet for a few months learning l2j html xml database customization etc... which I am doing myslef and have friends join and learn.... Is l2OFF alot more secure from hackers? Or can l2j equally be as secure from hackers? Also to run 1000+ players on lets say a Interlude l2j I have read 10000 rpm and 15000 rpm HD and 8 gig mem. Noob here... just made a server a few days ago... up and running however family member gets can not resolve host when trying to connect. Also donated $20 for plat member for credit for all the hard work and to download certain posts however after 2 paypal donations no status change... wtf jaja... ^^
