Well, then don't open a server. A server is for serving. If you expect to do things like you have in mind, don't worry, you will end up like everyone else who did the same. :)

Does server work in deamon mode under linux (no gui and crap)? Is client compatible with Wine/Linux?

Windows firewall is great firewall. You don't need an antivirus on a server machine since you don't browse internet or download files.

Well, every server that merged a fresh server with an old one, did it because either was doomed to failure. This absolute rule in private server history, makes me hate thinking about it. Regarding opening a new server, it is something we already discuss/ plan, still we need to take good care of our current server, something that I believe it is impossible. Currenty, RaidFight x4, is run by 2 GM/Administrators/Dev and 1 Forum Moderator. A new GM will come next week. As you can see, we are not a big team and our human resources are very limited. I, personally, run a company right now and I have a lot of issues to take care so I am not as active as I would like to be (and I feel guilty about it) and Zealar (Dev/GM) is studying university and I do not want to push him (Uni has priority after all). The Moderator we have (FallenCrow) is pretty active and is doing great job so far. The new GM that will arrive this week is Greek as I am, we have worked together in the past (in RL) and I know him personally (Do not trust even yourself ®). I hope that the new staff member will do things a bit easier for all of us and a new server may become a certain future. As for the new server it will be x15-x30 full retail (like Bartz x4). All the rush about x15-x20 servers nowadays has proven that customs are a curse.

Κάθε έρευνα για καλό είναι. Αν και συνήθως δεν είναι αρκετά ακριβής με τα αποτελέσματά τους στο σύνολο, μπορούμε να βγάλουμε κάποια συμπεράσματα, περισσότερα από το να μη γινόταν καθόλου.

What I asked which you didn't reply. If it was 1000 visits for a couple of bucks, would be cool. But pagehits, I am sorry I have 3526 visits/ 47304 hits daily, a thousand or ten thousands more won't make any difference for me, good luck.
