Hey everyone and happy new year :) Last year was a bit rough for me and i couldn't deliver the sequel RaidFight server. The past months i am working back on our old DC project sources and it's now official that raidfight is going to launch. Either as Scrions of Destiny or Interlude version in the beginning with plans to be updated to the later chronicles. In the meanwhile i have opened the forums at https://raidfight.eu yesterday while i am working on the website and game mechanics. I have also purchased a discord server with many unique features which will be also the host (free of charge) of the clans that would like to setup and settle on our discord server. My server doesn't have 100 people online and its like x10 times easier to start on an established server. There is no equality on any MMORPG, its not intended to and never will. This is why "successful" servers wipe every 6 or 12 months.

Says you. First of all things are not the way you say. It is always easy to trash other servers. Second, I look to ALL these server who wipe and I see that all of them failed. Why would RaidFight be an exception?

Not unless its a donator server and you can donate for vitually everything and you wait for the wipe to go shopping. Lineage II doesn't have "endgame". Developed chars help newcomers and that's the point of clans, academy and sieges. Old players leave and new players come. I can't imagine a server where you wipe every 12 months just to "keep it fresh". There are dozen of servers which wipe again and again, and this actually works because people are used to bullshit and they embrace it. That doesn't mean its wrong, but its my wrong. It is the easiest thing to get some $$ and then wipe. To keep server alive needs time and dedication, both from the community and the admin team.

Epilogue is coming by september (mostly to support windows 10, our roadmap was to update to epilogue by October) and the crashes was not that bad, we had like once per week for a couple of hours downtime. We already did a lot of work on this and we will upgrade hardware anyway for lower ping (better bandwidth comes with the new hardware) and better protection (we have access to better cisco solutions).
