Simply replace the BG_Effect_T.utx with the BG_Effect_T.utx from freya and the rain is gone. Tested it many times and it works just great. Now just need to know how to get rid of that purple/black/grey fog everywhere :P anyone got an idea? I heard it should be in some option.ini or l2.ini or some other .ini file

wow, nice fix :) I tried it and the rain is gone, but the fog is still there however :p Is the only thing BG_Effect_T.utx is for is the rain? Or is there something else important in it? Can anyone check it somehow? Also, how can we remove the annoying fog?
