Recent Update: Boss Events / Jewels: * Boss events will run more often. * Reduced the requirements needed in order to be rewarded with mantras from boss events. * Losing side will get a certain amount of mantras from boss events according to effort. * Added alternaative ways to get mantras: PvP, daily quests, daily events and so on. * Added extra time after registration period ends for teams to prepare and form their parties in boss events. Balance: * Major improvements to balance system, especially in boss events. * Fixed known issues with the queue system, reducing wait times. * Added a new balance system "Hybrid" that replaces the ELO balance system. * Balanced AoE skills damage from duelists/tyrants and players under cele to be divided by sqrt amount of targets. * A-grade is now the starting gear in order to prevent impossible B vs S fights, however in order to prevent mages from considering DC set top gear, Dynasty items were added. Noble: * Reduced rank required in order to become a noble. * Added an alternative way (preffered for solo players - no need to kill a boss) to gain noble by collecting 500 MSS from PvP/PvE/Quests/Events. Maps / Territories: * In order to capture a territory a faction must own at least 50% maps of that territory (instead of all maps). * Increased amount of players required to play maps which are defined as medium/large and changed some maps definitions according to players input. * Improved spwan points in Goddard Castle (Siege). * Made Ivory Tower (KOTH) map smaller (takes place only on 1 side of the crater instead of both sides). * Made flags in Ancient Battleground (BF) closer to each other and made spawns closer aswell. * Made flags in Field of Whispers (BF) closer to each other and made spawns closer aswell. * Added 2 more flags at the center of Cemetery (BF) map. * Added 1 more flag at the center of Primeval Isle (BF) map and made spawns closer. * Added 1 more flag at the center of Resistance Fortress (BF) map and made spawns closer. * Made spawn points in the following TvT maps closer: Antharas Lair/Mining Zone/Spider Nest/Execution Grounds/Hot Springs/Cemetery/Primeval Isle. * Made spawn points in the following Domination maps closer: Hot Springs. * Moved Hot Springs (BF) map to a smaller place. * Added 3 new small maps to Immortal Plateau: Domination/Escort/Fort. * Added 2 new small maps to Outlaw Forest: Domination/Escort. * Added 2 new small maps to Ivory Tower: Battlefield/Fort. * Added 2 new small maps to Elven Forest: Domination/Fort. * Added new small map Antharas Lair (Fort). * Added new small map Hot Springs (CTF). * Added new small map Ancient Battleground (Fort). * Added new small map Elven Fortress (KOTH). Order VS Chaos is an event-driven PvP faction server, make your way to the top by participating in events and defeating other players in the endless fight between Order and Chaos. Maps:25 minutes duration PvP events with various objectives, boss spawn 5 minutes before map ends, counts towards territory control. Currently implemented map types: Battlefield, Capture the Flag, Domination, Escort the Payload, Fortress, King of the Hill, Siege, Team VS Team. Hybrid maps: Castle VS Castle, Moba Arena, Gods Arena. Instances: 5 minutes duration PvE events, each faction gets its own realm and the first to complete it wins. Currently implemented instances: Blood Castle, Castle Invasion, City Under Attack, Clear the Chamber, Cursed Village, Dimensional Rift, Four Sepulchers, God's Tower, Ice Queen Cabin, Lair of the Snowman, Magician's Tower, Rescue the Princess, Search the Beast, Undead Camp, Water Factory, Wisdom Test. Mini Events: short duration events where each event has its own unique goals. Currently implemented mini events: Battle Royale, Battlefield, Bomb Fight, Buffless TvT, Death Match, Guardians, Humans VS Mutants, Humans VS Zombies, Hunting Grounds, Korean TvT, Last Man Standing, Lucky Chests, Raid in the Middle, Russian Roulette, Simon Says, VIP TvT. Boss Events: raid in the middle style, you must take out all enemies before challenging the raid, reward depends on your activity during the event. Currently implemented boss events: Antharas, Baium, Core, Frintezza, Orfen, Queen Ant, Sailren, Valakas, Zaken. Daily Events: mimic of retail-like events which will run 24/7 and switch every midnight. Currently implemented daily events: Change of Heart, Heavy Medals, Letter Collector, Master of Enchanting, Playing with Fire, Power of Love, Squish the Squash, Zaken's Curse. Missions: consists of solo/duo/squad PvE mini games, only players level 78+ can participate once a day. Currently implemented missions: False God, Frozen Tundra, Mines of Moria, Statue of Peace, The White Walkers. Castle Sieges: free for all PvP every weekend, all clans auto registered, special rewards for castle owners. Currently implemented castles: Aden Castle. Farm Zone: new players can enjoy a farm zone for quickly leveling up and farming a decent amount of adena and items. Be aware: you can enter the farm zone once a day for 1 hour, the farm zone is a free for all PvP zone, every death inside the zone will cause a 5 minutes penalty. Features * Real money achievements system. * Starting level 76 with 3rd class, max level 80. * Starting gear B-grade, full GM shop. * First subclass free, any subclass afterwards cost 500 Adena. * Toggles for CP/HP/MP instead of potions. * Only blessed enchant scrolls, retail enchant / life stone rates, safe +3, max +16. * AIO buffer, 4 hours buff duration, 20+4 buff slots. * Buffs kept after death / resummon. * Symbol and event buffs do not take buff slots. * Cancelled buffs return after 7 seconds. * Unique rank system with rewards. * Global/Personal vote reward systems. * Streamer reward system. * Get rewarded with XP/SP/Adena/Items by doing PvPs according to damage/debuffs/heals. * Gear dependent rewards - higher/lower rewards depending on gear/level/rank/class and more. * Team balance based on Elo/Count. * Anti farm / AFK systems, anti buff griefing system. * Bonus buff for people who die too much without making kills. * Bonus buff for losing team during an event. * Double XP/SP event at random times during the day. * Killing spree/streak system with sounds. * Events voting system - vote your favorite map/mini event to be played next. * One town for both factions, players can duel in town. * Offline shops with dedicated store zone. * Trade chat is faction only chat, shout/hero chats will show player's faction. * Visit Noblesse Manager inside the farm zone to start your noble quest. * Visit Tablet of Information to see a list of useful commands, info and statistics. * Services NPC (Name/Gender change, Faction change etc). * Training Dummy NPCs to test your class from different perspectives. * Heroes every Monday, olympiad 1vs1 class/faction irrelevant fights at Friday-Sunday 19:00-22:00. * Free warehouse and freight. * 10 seconds spawn protection. * Increased weight/inventory/private store slots. * No death penalties and no exp loss. * Max 1 client per PC can login. * Pincode security upon character login. * Mini games - Poker, Lottery and Casino. * Wedding with gotolove and extra skills. This server has started as Classic Antharas (2.3), there are many classic versions out there and we've decided we are going to slowly climb up the versions without making a server wipe - so feel free to stick with us and enjoy it as much as possible That being said, the next classic version we'll release will be Classic: Seven Signs (2.6) on 31th of July. The main feature of the new classic version is a completely new elements system, which allows players to freely change their elements. When gaining ranks your elemental spirits will increase, allowing you to spend points on various stats (attack/defense and crit rate/power): This system will replace the custom expert skills system. New class skills: * Shillien Elder got Shilen's Cursed Field and Mass Recharge. * Temple Knight got Shield Bash. * Warsmith got Encase Armor. * Arcana Lord got Summon Feline Queen. * Cardinal got Sublime Self-Sacrifice. * Elemental Master got Summon Seraphim the Unicorn. * Eva Templar and Phoenix Knight got Shield Charge. * Spectral Master got Summon Nightshade. * Titans got Full Knockdown. What's with that idea of automatically merging posts if you make a reply to your own topic in the l2 previews / private servers section? What if I made my topic 1 week ago and today I want to announce a beta or something? no-one would see my post and when it gets merged it doesn't even add a last modified date or anything to distinguish it from the initial post (even if it did it would still lose the whole idea of posting updates etc). Put it back to what it was and find other ways to deal with useless topic bumpers, not like this. @Maxtor

I'm glad to announce to you that the development of a new chronicle has officially started ! Classic Antharas will join the array of game versions we currently offer: Interlude and High Five (and the ditched {for now} GoD version). Classic will open many possibilities for new game features - with the main feature it offers - a stable and modern client ! Starting gear (free tier) = B-Grade: Free tier also includes: level 1 pendants, +4 -4 dyes and level 10 runes (soul crystals). Max gear (top tier) = A-Grade: Top tier also includes: a belt, +4 -2 dyes, level 1 bracelets & talismans, cloaks, level 1 brooches, level 5 pendants and boss jewels. None of these stuff are upgradable for balance purposes, except for boss jewels. A-grade prices are 150k + materials, boss jewels and their upgrades cost mantras (like current IL), rest of the items are rather cheap (between 15k to 30k Adena). Cloak skins (choose your favorite, they all give the same stats, heroes and castle owners will have access to additional cloaks): A fully equipped character would look something like this: New classic feature: glow effect when armor is enchanted (so you'll know who to stay away from ) Note: the above post should give you a general picture of how the server is going to look like, stuff might change. Aden Castle will be the only clan siege event in Classic, rewards will be very similar to Interlude (circlets, territory bonuses, XP/SP/FA bonuses) with the addition of all available residence skills in the game and a castle cloak to the leader depending on faction: In addition, the castle lord will receive True Hero aura (the only player in the game to have access to this aura): To capture the castle, Order players need to use Imprint of Light and Chaos players need to use Imprint of Darkness, after the castle is successfully captured, all major castles/towns change visualization according to the faction that owns it: Regardless of castle siege , Players will now get bigger aura depending on amount of killing spree: New scorebar: When capturing zones / forts / castles (progress bar color depends on faction): Today we have beta running for the weekend. After it'll end we'll decide and announce an opening date according to the results. Subclasses & Expert Skills Classic Antharas doesn't naturally support subclasses, but we will have that feature enabled anyway with same rules as IL/H5 - first sub free, any sub afterwards costs 5k Adena, elfs cannot sub dark elfs and vice-versa, aswell as maestros / dominators cannot be subclassed. Also since Classic Antharas doesn't offer any form of certification skills etc, Expert Skills from Interlude will be added instead: And can be learned from the character's Skills panel: P.S Order color has been changed from green to blue. ;) We've opened the test server to the public for the weekend for those who wish to test it out.
