Of course you can replace your CPU. Since we got the example with the movie, check this, does your CPU remain at 50-80% during the movie or only at the movie's start? (i mean when you open the file) Again it sounds to me like a hard disk issue and not CPU's. And even if it's running like 50-80% you shouldn't freeze, maybe lag a little bit but not freezing. And that sound is most likely caused by your hard disk. Why don't you try removing and putting your disk back, or even better replacing the disk with another one. I'm not saying to buy a new one since we are not sure about your problem, maybe you have another one, or you could take your friend's?

Does your computer make a sound like Ding ......... Ding .......... Ding ............ and so on.. Anyway, if your pc made the check and everything is fine, probably you have nothing to worry about. Do the following: go and check if the connection between your power supply and hard disk is intact. Power supplies got wires going literally everywhere, at each part of your computer. Check that connection, check if the wire is connected fine. Push it a little bit and ensure that it's ok. I'm not sure if that's a problem of your hard disk but it's normal (if it's damaged or not well connected) to freeze when you are trying to access files from it (like when you were watching the porn movie).

Βρες μου κάποια μέτρηση που να είναι αντίθετη σε αυτό που πόσταρα. Το λινκ που μας έδωσες απ'την άλλη γενικεύει πάρα πολύ και μερικά απ'τα πλεονεκτήματα είναι ανούσια και ισχύουν και στα Windows. Δεν είμαι κανάς φανατικός των Windows απλά είμαι της άποψης ότι για Home Pc είναι ανώτερα.

Μιλάτε για ταχύτητα χωρίς πραγματικά να ξέρετε. Δείτε εδώ μετρήσεις που έγιναν. Σημείωση: Το μικρότερο είναι το καλύτερο καθώς έχει μετρηθεί ο χρόνος ανταπόκρισης σε milliseconds. Τα Windows 7 μπορεί να παίρνουν παραπάνω ram αλλά χρησιμοποιείτε από το Superfentch των Windows για καλύτερη απόδοση. Τα ubuntu bootaroun πιο γρήγορα σε αντίθεση με τα Windows 7 ενώ τα Windows απ'την άλλη είναι πιο γρήγορα στη μεταφορά αρχείων. Οι διαφορές είναι πολλές, αλλού τα Windows υπερτερούν αλλού τα Linux. Απλά είδα κάτι σχόλια για τα Windows που πραγματικά είναι πολύ ανόητα. Ως χρήστης και των 2 κατέληξα στα Windows, καθώς είναι ευκολότερα στη χρήση, σε αντίθεση με τα Linux που πρέπει να γράφεις εντολές συνέχεια και καταντάει σπαστικό. Επίσης διάβασα κάπου ότι το 97% των προγραμμάτων είναι συμβατό στα ubuntu, αυτό είναι το πιο γελοίο πράγμα που έχω ακούσει τον τελευταίο καιρό (φυσικά αναφέρομαι χωρίς την χρησιμοποίηση του Wine).
