PreConfigured packs:

You cant edit the .java files of the servers,Obvius that means you cant fix any Bug or add any custom mod.

Pack with Source:

You can edit all .java files.

So you can fix a lot of bugs, you can do practise plus you can add w/e mod you want!

Chapter 1 - Avoiding preconfigured packs

First of all, you may ask, what's a preconfigured pack? Well, it is a server folder, which does not include the source code , precompiled by another person. This means that in case you want to make your own stuff in the server, or fix any kind of bugs, you won't be able to do shit.

What does that mean? Never use preconfigured packs.
