I had almost no time with it since I got my hands on it for only few minutes,while visiting a friend.

I really liked it and the free-running system still pwnz.

Ιndeed it is.I just read some info about mp mode.

A mode that has been revealed is that you are rival with some other assassins and you try to kill them and a target!

I don't know.The only one I figured out @ the second game of the series is the too complex story!

I have played it(PS3)...I kinda liked it but AC II was better...now regarding gameplay if u've played any of the other 2 ACs it will feel familiar

 

there have been significant changes in the battle system(now a skilled player can solo like 20 guards [no kidding] since they tend to attack Ezio one-by-one and not simultaneously)

 

you can conquer city territories and by doing so you unlock purchasable shops(blacksmiths,art merchants etc. like the ones in AC II) that will increase your income over time...it'll remind you of GTA which used a similar approach to enrich its gameplay

 

there are TONS of side quests,some of them really interesting, like driving leonardo's renaissance machines(including tanks, naval cannons and,of course, the flying machine from AC II)...these side quests not only are relaxing and fun-based but there's a reward in for you...when you finish all the leonardo associated missions he'll give you a new invention,which did not exist in the previous ACs(don't worry I am not spoiling)...apart from handling machines though in the wide variety of quests are also included the classic races,beat-up events and assassinations contracts as well as romulus's lairs,which are explorable mini-maps, very much like the assassin tombs in AC II, that,following their synchronization, will reward you by offering you the best armor(and the best dagger) in the game(same like Altair's armor)

 

there is the creation of the brotherhood,which includes recruiting new assassins and assigning them missions in order for them to acquire experience and level-up...their levelling-up pretty much resembles metal gear solid,if anyone has played it he'll in understand what I'm talking about...these assassins can also be called by Ezio to help him, either in the synchronization of a memory or in a simple street fight

 

Lastly the game offers 3 new features:

1)u can leave the animus at any given moment and explore the village of monteriggioni by controlling Desmond

2)a new training system has been implemented which is accessible through the pause menu...it allows you to practise your free-running and combat skills

3)you are given the ability to replay any mission, even the ones that do not belong to the main storyline...that way you will be able to synch every memory to 100%(since in AC:Brotherhood you can either complete the missions on 50% or 100%,by completing it with a certain way, such as killing the target with the hidden blade or finishing the exploration of a romulus's lair in less than 8 minutes)

 

About multiplayer I've played and, imo, it rocks...it's true in mp mode the objective is to kill the other players either by remaining undetected(which is the best way to do it)or by entering rambo-mode...the interesting thing about is,though,that in the area that the potential assassins will fight against each other all the characters,both the player-controlled and the NPCs are indistinguishable...so the only way to identify another player is to be careful and have your eyes open every single moment(for example if u see someone climbing a wall or moving along the rooftops, that's definitely a human-controlled character)

 

yet the story is certainly inferior in comparison with AC II and the ending is,imo, controversial...I won't spoil it since u wanna buy it but trust me it'll confuse you...I hope there'll be a sequel that will explain this ending

 

Now if u own a PS3 buy it on that...if not, I think that PC is ok but judging from personal experience (I've played AC II both in PS3 and PC) PS3 is better.

 

Bottom line: AC:Brotherhood is not,as far as I'm concerned,better than AC II...but,under no circumstances,should you hesitate to buy it...it is an absolute must for everyone who considers himself a "gamer"....For me,considering that AC II was a 10/10, AC:Brotherhood is worth 9/10

Imo,ACII's ending was confusing as well but it doesn't matter.I,myself,tend to be a perfectionist and I think I'll be burning my ass until I achieve 100% sync.

I have one lil question.

Are there any side missions/quests on Desmond's life,while having left animus?
