About Computer(Open Server)

Hello All,I'm new on MXC and i want to resieve help from other's and to help also.Okey let's go to the point.

I'm trying to find one good site  to check for Some Computer's.Because i'm intresting in Opening a good Server...for this i need one good Computer..because from laptop is Impossible(1.000 Problem's :/ )

I would appriciate if someone could give me a site or to suggest me what kind of Computer i could by (I have money to buy any PC ,just i need some suggestion's from you guys),or give me any site to Check.

The PC it depends on what type of srv u want to open.. i mean a Highrate pvp srv with 200-300 online expected ppl or a low rate with more then 1000 ppl online expected?

I can suggest u only 2 things: -Linux is best for L2

                                        -Better if u host it instead of buying a new PC to host it at ur home.

WTF.. men its mote Cheap....  if u rent a dedicated server.........

are 99% up...  and  doesnt need too much care....

 

buf if u want to get ur server in a PC....  need  minimum.. dualcore above 2.8ghz..

cuad core migth be great......

 

i prefeer AMD but  if u like xeon... works too.....

 

2nd.. and very impórtant......  need minimum.... 4gb RAM.... dd3 for better results......... (8gb can be better,,,)

 

 

and third and the most important..... minimum8mb internet speed.... 16can be great.......

 

well whit this config im almost sure u can have 150-350 players on..........

 

but nothing compares whit a dedicated server the internet trafic its better because they have 100mb band.......  this servers  have maintenance 24/7

 

im seeing pages servers  whit dedicated server.... whit 8 cores or 12 cores procesador...... whit 12gb ram and 500gb hdd... but are servers whit more than 200 players...and are gracia or up......
