A friend of me, ask me what Linux to use to open a server.

Ofcourse 64 bit but what Linux? Ubuntu? demiant? or othe format?

ubuntu is the easyest to use.... but still i think other linux server give better performance....

ubuntu or debian, it is like the same (ubuntu is 90% debian)

dont choose any linux like gentoo, it isnt made for servers...

Linux Ubuntu, w/o GUI (i.e. Server Edition)

it is great for such purposes.
