[Help] Router problem

Question

Posted

I have a problem with my router. I have set up port forwarding for my server ports but the problem is that my internal IP changes occasionally. I mean at the moment it's 192.168.1.101 and two days ago it was 192.168.1.102

Is there any way I can fix this? Or at least some way I don't have to manually edit the IP in port forwarding?

I think this doesn't really matter. What's the problem? When you reconnect to your router just change the Internal IP in the configs and you're ready. It's not anything hard.. :D

Yes ofcourse, I guess you are using windows?

Go to your Local Area Connection -> Properties -> Check Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then "Use the following IP address".

IP Adress : 192.168.1.102

MASK : 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1

Preferred DNS: 192.168.1.1
