[Help]How to setup my server to join with a no-ip host

Hello,

I'm trying to setup a server but I'm having some issues with my hosts file...Since i have a dynamic IP i registered on no-ip.org to get a virtual static IP. I've seen some servers using this kind of IP but when i try to connect to my server i cant join. Seems like there are no hosts file, infact it's trying to connect to the official servers.

 

I hope someone can help me.

So you are using local internet with more than one pc?

That is because the hosts file doesn't recognize a no-ip.org adress as an IP adress in the IPs column, to make your server work with no-ip you should get your hands on file edit software from: http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=69451.0

And edit your l2.ini file in the line where u see ServerAddr=your.no-ip.org here.

This is client modification, not server please move topic.  :D

I've tried this already but it stuck on "currently logging in" text

Tried with dynDNS but still having the same problem....Anyone who managed to resolve this?
