about starting L2J srv

i readed Uniqued's guide

have downloaded java mysql navicat

 

they tell me to get a pack-but all packs are just words-how can i dl one ?

 

i have L2Jharpun but i cannot find database_installer.bat and some other things in guide...

can someone tell me where to find a good pack(free ofc)which accords to the guide ?

(l2jharpun pack setup)

1. Instal Java

2. Instal MySQL

3. Instal Navicat

4. Start Navicat make NEW CONNECTION (localhost,root,root)

5. In new connection make NEW DATABASE (l2jdb)

6. Edit config/network/gameserver and loginserver,#database options: write root as password in both files

7. tools/installer (edit lspass and gspass with root)

8. Start installer (press 1 then 2 then 3)

9. Start RegisterServer (press 1), rename hexidserver1 to hexid and copy it to config folder)

10. Start Loginserver and gameserver.

11. DONE!

First of all,when i make new database and register it,shouldn't some things appear in Navicat ?

i cannot find HexidServer1...

i know i used guides in this forum with harpuns pack but he cant find those edited files so i write for him exect tutorial :D

have u putted the password of your database?? :? at game server and login server??

first run tools/installer... than in navicat you will see in l2jdb database in tables all needed tables like character, account etc...

after this you run registerserver :)

in navicat i can see account and gameservers

but when i run RegisterServer this appears

you run installer? press 1 when done press 2 when done press 3? you have all tables in navicat? only when registerserver wrote me error, it was because of bad java or because of database...

i have 2 tables in navicat...

so you propebly bad instal it :) you have to had 108 tables :) run installer run 1, it will install login and gameserver, run then install gameserver tables, it will do 1percent 2percet... to 100percent then press 3 to turn off installer... than use registerserver

and i have registered normally gameserver and renamed hexid

when you use registerserver it make file like hexid(server1). rename it to hexid only and put in to config folder :) now it should work 100%

i did this and doesn't work....

anyway,do u have another pack(simple even pre..)i want to open servers just to make fun with some friends ...
