Yes. I try to find my own style but all the time i have on my mind MD's style. So, yes is MD's style, but i will find and my own style.

You could make text smaller and remove the small text below it.

Make the text smaller, add it in a better pos, with a better subtext.

Also, use the well known techniques to create a lovely depth and I suppose that it will look better.

Consider adding some gradient maps at first, and maybe a few photo filters later, in order to create a balance between the colours.

Finally, try to fix the borders.

 

Doing those will make the sig better and the remaining problems won't be so eye-catching.
