0 WhiteFace Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 it says that my server need to be started first whats that mean?
0 mcbigmac Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Well. Start your damn SQL server for one. :P (I can't imagine it's not, but just in case). Open up SQL Configuration manager and make sure the SQL Server service is started. Altho to me, it looks like Named Pipes are disabled(more common). In SQL Config manager, explore the services and make sure Named Pipes, are enabled (not just tcp/ip etc )
0 kurmis56 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I had something like that long time ago. Try entering computer name or (local) instead of localhost.
