[Tutorial]How to increase your FPS to 100?

Small guide from me how to increase fps.

First of all you will need to own a NVIDIA video card.

In this guide you won't get more than 100 FPS.

I had all the time max 60.0 FPS and after these steps my max was 100.0 FPS.

 

1. Start the Counter Strike.

2. You can check your fps by writing in console "cl_showfps 1" or "net_graph 5".

3. Write in consule "max_fps 100".

4. Exit Counter Strike.

5. Go to NVIDIA control panel (Control Panel -> NVIDIA Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings) and disable Vertical sync by clicking on "Force off". Apply changes.

6. Start the Counter Strike and enjoy your FPS.

 

I think this may be useful for someone,wich dosn't have such a powerless pc to can run always on 100 FPS.

u can type 2341703124 if u want but 100 is max . if u have good pc u dont need to type nothing just play :)

Agree with the fps_max,but if you have good pc this dont mean you could play with ex_interp 100,etc

You need to make some settings if you wanna be a pro player.

You have right but mine fps are 100 and i have default settings.But i have problem with mine ping , i have 2mb/s net and i have 70-90 latency on mine servers.

Check your settings,rate 25000,ex_interp 0.01 and the others.

You shouldn't have that ping on your server..

On your server the ping shoule be 10-15

yea i know but i have that problem all time .mine rates are cl_updarate 100 cl_cmdrate 100 rate 25000 cl_interp 0.01 . And sometimes i got some Red error into right corner like some fluxpacket missing or something like that :s

It dosnt work if you dont have nvidia graphic card.

You could use mine config from cs scripting.

It makes you the optimal settings for cs. (FPS,PING&OTHERS)
