Magnus adds more matk and increases moving speed a lot...

 

POWater adds more magic critical than magnus, but less matk and decreases moving speed a lot...

 

and remember, since i guess...kamael , they capped critical magic to 1/4

 

before it was random...you could do 3 critical magic in a row...now that doesnt happen anymore

 

so...b4 Kamael, use prophecy of water

after Kamale, Magnus is better

 

***you reach max critical just with magnus and wild magic...you dont even need valakas for it, cuz at the point you have these 2 buffs, you wont do more critical magic attacks cuz of Valakas or Siren dance

 

also POW doesnt replace Magnus anymore...i used POW in interlude to slow down enemies

but Magnus replace POW after Kamael

 

MAGNUS IS BETTER

only use POW if you dont have Doomcryer to buff....also having a Doomcryer in mage party helps to reduce physical critical damage

Whats the max? How do you even know if its the max?

 

because i read the official patch notes after every release...

 

the max critical magic is now 1/4.... its not chance anymore

 

its like this....

1/4 means..after every 12 hits, you get 3 critical magic only = 1/4

 

before KAMAEL you could get 3-4 magic critical in a row...or only normals, or only criticals, or half of each..because it was based on chance, making mages imba overpowered

two buffs you reach max critical magic rate

 

the buffs that increase critical magic are:

 

Prophecy of Water

Wild Magic

Dance of Siren

Magnus Chant

and Valakas Necklace

WIT attribute

 

having two of these makes u with max critical rate

 

Note that...since magic critical is now based on 25% rate, and not chance...the more faster you cast, more critical magic hits youll do

 

Example:

 

an Elemental Master with augment attack and 2.309 c.speed / 4.000 matk (with Baium Ring*valakas and all good buffs)

 

does wayyyyy more damage per second than a Storm Screamer with all the 19.k matk and 1400 c.speed (empowering echo/ arcane power/valakas/baium etc)

 

that because Elemental Master will cast wayyy faster and that means a lot more of magic critical attacks, without any reuse delay on skill (thx to seraphim gift, arcane agility and summon lore)

 

Only way to increase critical magic for Storm Screamer, Soul Taker , Archmage and Mystic Muse is having an Elemental Summoner to decrease reuse delay on skills with seraphim...

 

cuz even Mystic Muse with more than 1.700 c.speed cannot cast that fast because of reuse delay limitations on skill (but try with aura flare..it does lots of critical cuz reuse is faster)

 

***the song of champion does not work with magic, only decrease reuse delay for physical skills

***for mage, seraphim gift, valakas/frintezza or having decrease reuse delay augment

Well I got a WM10 augment on my weapon and I guess its pretty crappy then huh?

 

not really....WM augment if passive cannot be removed by cancellation....

 

its pretty useful at olympiad...whats ur class????

 

i dont recommend having empower, or pdef, or mdef etc..theyre all garbage that doesnt change ur gameplay , only boost a few points that makes almost no difference in pvps

 

if ure mage, try get reuse delay augment, its one of best in this game...

also theres good ones such as Ritual (recover CP), Greater Heal (800 HP heal)..

 

 

yep sry...Champion is for physical and Renewal for magical....i just forgot lol

 

anyways.... theres nothing you can do to increase magic critical rate since they nerfed it a lot

 

better go for matk or c.speed instead

 

changing MATK>>> more damage on critical hits

changing C.speed>>> more damage per second, since critical magic will happens a lot more

 

particularly, to me, theres a huge advantage for c.speed, since c.magic will happens over and over as you cast a lot more faster

 

with matk...its the same chance to do critical magic, but slower, cuz ure restricted to ur own c.speed and reuse limitations

 

***ELEMENTAL SUMMONER CAN SPAM SKILLS AT 2.309 c.speed without any reuse delay...you cant even see the animation of the caster...if you want MAXIMUM DAMAGE PER SECOND , go for this class

 

***I recommend making elemental summoner and work hard for AURA FLARE 900 RANGE AUGMENT, since its a dearrangement skill and its not affected by any resist buffs...you hit as harder as if ppl doesnt have buffs

Yes well on the server I play on I can make a sub and level it to 85 if I happen to get that augment and if that augment doesn't have like a 30 second delay like it did on other servers.

In Gracia FInal is different stat but in Interlude Prophecy of Water is good

cov/pow are both good...

but it will depend on your game play, if you want more hp and the same cas.speed cov is a lot better.
