I wanted to ask. I want to host 500 players on my server . This means that i have to run 25 different maps with 20 players each? ( is not this a high load? )

If you wanna have 500 players on your servers,you must have manny servers because on one server is imposible the maps are to small for 500 players,and also i dont think is posible this..

a good server contains about 30 ppls.

so u need about 17 servers in order to have 500 players .

p.s : u can set w/e max players u want.

Are you actually asking if you can maintain a server/servers of 500 people? That's impossible. Just make a massive server with 32 players It's more than enough for a Counter Strike dedicated server.

You must have and a good paid hosting to support 32 players..
