Boting behind firewall in university

I want to know how to setup my bot in order to connect to a proxy server and then connect normal to server i play.Also if someone can tell me a free proxy server to connect it will be very useful.Thanks

First do you have the correct settings of the server that you are trying to connect? Second there are a lot of proxy servers, but as i see you are behind a firewall and that means closed ports. Try using http tunneling. (by using port 80,or 8080 etc you open others by tunneling)
