I just installed Ubuntu... I want someone to tell me the basics because it's first Time I use linux, About apps etc... I think that it is slower than  windows 7...

Ubuntu is the lightest software do not format it to kubuntu

i've tried kubuntu and it really sucks.

ubuntu boot faster than windows 7 ofc

its faster than windows 7 in all ways

you can choose your own application by going to the bar and press aplications

then go to ubuntu software center then choose your kind of program.
