One of the forum rules:

Signature sizes cannot be more than 550 x 150 pixels. More than these sizes will be removed without warning.

However only Maxtor can update user profiles, as stated by K4rMaArr0ws here

Report sig's only to maxtor. (Or pm me to warn someone.)

We cant edit members forum profile informations.

 

Personally I hate big images in sigs. Often there is one line of text and then scroll down whole screen because 4 images are in sig. The biggest image in sig I've spotted was 768 px, but some ppl have even bigger sigs (few images, few lines of text, often wit big font size). Somebody added youtube preview on his sig (about 420 pixels). This is annoying >:(

 

Moreover I'm not convicted that I should bother Maxtor to remove those sigs, he has other things to do.

 

So please post your opinions how high sigs should be and what forum staff should do when the rule is abused.

I just realised that in Profile / Look and Layout Preferences there are 2 nice options:

Don't show users' avatars

Don't show users' signatures

 

In that case the poll is useless.
