[Help][En] Running old clients on W7/Vista

Hi,

 

I'm trying to run old clients like C3 and Prelude on my Windows 7 64bit OS, and they all fail at running l2.exe (from system folder), though it is running at the 'processes' in the Task manager, there just isn't a window :/

 

I have tried at properties and changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP and some other settings, but it all failed.

 

Anyone ideas/suggestions?

PS: I have tried search, and I found some "Vista fix for C4", but all links were down

I now also tried with another core.dll I found somewhere, and I tried changing the directory to Lineage II (I made it different first), but still no results :/

Bump. Anyone know more about this? Or a way to be able to run them? I am looking into Vritualmachines so I can run them with XP, but it always goes a bit slow somehow, someone got tips for that?
