This tool will listen as a server and simply redirect your connection from it to the Lineage 2 login server. This simple bypass works because L2Walker will verify connections from local IPs.

Once you have these, you will need to modify your "hosts" file. You can can do this by doing the following.

 

1. Click Start and then click Run.

2. Enter "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" without the quotes and when windows asks what to open the file with, use notepad. If you are on Windows vista or 7, you will need to run notepad first as administrator and then browse to the hosts file location and open with notepad.

By default on most windows operating systems your host file content should show "127.0.0.1 localhost" towards the bottom of the file.

Add the following line to the hosts file after all the text located inside of it:

 

127.0.0.1 L2authd.Lineage2.com

 

3. Once you have modified the hosts file and it has the new line(s) added save the file.

4. Run the tool "L2WBypass" you downloaded at the top of this page and click "Start Listening."

If you get an error when you try to load l2wbypass, you must right click and run as Administrator.

 

Once the L2WBypass tool is Listening start L2walker 2.17b and lanch L2.bin located in your Lineage 2's system folder.

"L2.exe instead of L2.bin IF of course you are using a zoom hack patch"

A few seconds after you have hit the character selection screen walker should "VERIFY OK."

"VERIFY OK or fail will be visible by opening walker's options with your home key after l2 has been launched and clicking Other Ctrl."

 

Note that as long as your hosts file is modified you will need to have the tool listening to log in to L2, otherwise remove the new line added to hosts from above and again save the updated hosts file. Once you have entered your character selection screen the tool does not need to be kept open.
