[wanted] PHP developer

[Syntax]

I need help from one good php developer.

I made a website for my project (the design part) but im stucked somewhere with the php scripts. I need a good dev to teach me some things. Its not much. I will do everything my self. I dont want you to work for my website. I will do it. Just that i want to have someone on msn/yahoo who can help me when i have problems since im newbie in php/mysql

I cant afford to pay you. But if you like the website template, i will give the rights to add it to his portofolio for the person who is helping me. And i will put a link to his website if he has one.

I though it was called portfolio. Anyway, whats the problem on the site? the top stats? some1 already shared php scripts that are working.

Can i pm you my msn so i can explain you and show you what is all about? Basicly i cant establish the conection to the Mysql db. And i think i have done everything right till now. Its just denny my user acces. Want to specify that the mysql l2 db is on a different server than the website.

PS: my english is low-mid level so sry for bad writing some words.

sounds like u didnt add your DB name/pass and ip on the php code.

 

I dont know much from php coding, but i know if somewhere is something mistake :P

look, im newbie but im not that newbie.

 

Let me tell you what i did.

 

On the script part:

i added the l2 server ip (the ip where the l2 mysql server is installed)

i added the mysql username

i added the mysql password

 

On the l2 server part (in mysql)

i added an user specialy for the website script (that username and pass i writed in php script)

i checked that in mysql config tcp/ip networking option to be on

i even added the user permisions for the website ip

 

What else can i do more?
