For Freya servers yoo don't need that. There you can recommend as many times as you have recommends :)

This has became useless on freya 'cause rec system was modified.

 

Now you can rec a lot, you can even buy rec from NPC, and rec gives you more exp after killing mobs. And you don't even have to restart.. but they disappear a lot faster too..
