There are countless ways to make the gameplay fun and indirectly prevent people from botting. 

 

Players are mostly botting because every server has an unfun grind phase where you need to kill x amount of mobs to get gear and get to the fun part. Well, try to make farming more fun so they don't have to bot.

Enlighten us elfo. Countless ways? Every MMORPG is based on boring grind, maybe some companies focus on quest storylines but still, gameplay is almost the same for the last 20± years.

Write private antibot protection from server side not big deal for skilled L2J developers. All ingame and outgame bot have the same behavior which is easy enough to detect from the server side. Even if bot will running by quests only. It can be determined with a certainty of 80-90 percent.

As i know some servers using this pack and they don't have any big/major problem.
