People (including me) would not join such a server in my opinion. Learning and being part of new/innovative things is not something that people would do in 2k17. Because simply, we are at 2k17, and you my friend, are referring to a Lineage 2 server.

It sounds incredibly interesting, but also incredibly hard to do properly... For example

 

 

The mobs in general are much more difficult and intelligent. You could no longer make "mob trains" to kill them all like flies. Therefore, the PVE is much more "personal".

 

Changing AI of the mobs... Wouldn't it take ages?

Mm not that much. If you think about it, the mobs' mechanics in Lineage 2 (and well, in almost all MMORPG) are pretty... simple, making them incredibly easy to defeat once you know them.
Just need to change the "conditions" of these and the environment slightly to greatly increase the difficulty. The same game provides what is necessary for that.
