Not sure what you use, but it's part of OlympiadGameTask on latest L2J or aCis. private GameState _state = GameState.IDLE; And extended uses public final boolean isRunning() { return _state != GameState.IDLE; } public final boolean isGameStarted() { return _state.ordinal() >= GameState.GAME_STARTED.ordinal() && _state.ordinal() <= GameState.CLEANUP.ordinal(); } public final boolean isInTimerTime() { return _state == GameState.BATTLE_COUNTDOWN; } public final boolean isBattleStarted() { return _state == GameState.BATTLE_IN_PROGRESS; } public final boolean isBattleFinished() { return _state == GameState.TELE_TO_TOWN; } If you use basic L2J IL, it's time to change.
