INTERLUDE CHRONICLE

 

So i am trying to find somethings and help is always welcomed.

Straight to the point.. i post my "want to" thingz below and if someone knows something,.. anything dont hesitate to post.

 

1) Want to delete some classes entirely from the game with/out all their skills. (client/server)

 

2) Want remove the base subs. (everyone can pick whatever they want with all races and types)

 

3) Want to make the Enlarge Map static. (you cant drug it shows a spot that i want)

 

4) Want to make the minimap also to stop at the same point as above. (you can drag it but not beyond a point at all directions)

 

5) Want help on interface thingz (advanced) , not related with the last 2.

 

6) Want to know if there is a way to see the all the paths from staticmeshes and textures that are into a map area. (L2pe?,L2smr?)

 

7) Want to delete some staticmeshes,textures,maps with their paths so they wont even get loaded.

 

Nothing else is comming in my mind right now . I will prolly post more. Any help is accepted if you actually know ^^

regarding the map, i dont really think theres other solution than replacing map texture, as the window that displays it is simply loading entire map texture which then gets other elements added (cursed weapons, party members)

MiniMapWnd class doesnt contain any information about the "dragging" functionality and its limits

 

however.... i guess you could display the desired location with this function

 

 static function AdjustMapView (string a_ControlID, Vector Loc, optional bool a_ZoomToTownMap, optional bool a_UseGridLocation) {}

and then skip the clicks on the window by editing interface.xdat (dunno if that would actually work xd)

at interlude there are 6 textures for the map, so its not loaded as a whole but as 6 different pieces , i want to display only one, obviously replacing or deleting the others can be done but i wouldnt ask if i wanted that.

It will take me 2 weeks to understand and work on serverside but till now i dont have a clue how server side and client side cooporate. Interface.xdat got everything related to both maps but i cant see anything about these texture

there is a background max texture for both maps but its a black icon 4x4. Ive done a lot of tests to get to the point to ask but i still lack of knowledge.

 

 

 

Edit: Also there is something that refreshes the minimap at your character location (when u look at an area that ur now) , there might be a soloution via that something like change the refresh center an area

and not the character and when someone try to drag it beyond that it refreshes insta. (im posting whatever is comming in my mind as a solution)

As i already suggested, theres a function for displaying map centered at some specific point. In clean client its meant to be used for displaying map centered at players/pt members/quest/cured weapons locations. By modifying use of that function for OnShow/OnButtonClick events you could display any part of the map as the default, sadly theres nothing said about how the boundaries are handled.

 

Eventually you could mess with mouse x y coords in window handle, dunno if its worth the effort though xd
